I’m an avid photographer with many years of experience. I have spent countless hours perfecting the craft of what constitutes a great photographer and these are combining, learning and acquiring technical and artistic skills to create good outcomes. Photography has made me more imaginative, persistent, observant of my surroundings, curious, autonomous, patient and decisive. All these characteristics are also shared in my real I.T World which has been very positive in many ways.
Can I say it’s genetic? I’m not sure this is the case, but it turns out most of my family on my mother’s side are truly passionate about motor vehicles: cars, motorcycles, trucks, etc. I’m not exception to the rule and since I was a very young child I remember wishing to have a motorcycle for Christmas. My son seems to have the same Gene as he’s asking the same at 3 years of age. I love MotoGP, the premier class of motorcycle racing. I’m a fan of Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa, but I also follow the great efforts and technical abilities of Marc Marquez, Johann Zarco, Maverick Viñales, and Jorge Lorenzo.
Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing has been one my hobbies for many years. I’ve witness the evolution on these methodologies to increase reach and return on investment through the efforts of well coordinated electronic marketing campaigns. I still don’t know exactly why I like this area so much, but perhaps are all the many intricacies and attention to detail that make me gravitate towards SEO/SEM. It is such a great pleasure to see your site come up at a very high ranking without investing lots of money, but rather small efforts in ensuring all moving parts are fully optimized. I’m glad to see the evolution of great content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla and how they integrate and facilitate the inclusion of proper SEO/SEM strategies.
Living in New York makes it a bit difficult to pursue this hobby, but luckily we have the Caribbean Sea fairly close. I’ve done several dives in various locations right after acquiring my PADI Open Water certification. The first time I tried scuba diving in the Bahamas, I fell in love with it. Of course, I was under the guidance of Stuart Cove, who explained well and helped me explore the activity in a safe environment. This was a life changing experience that I highly recommend to anyone. I can’t wait for my children to be old enough to acquire their own license so we can submerge and explore the underwater together. I like scuba exploration, deep diving and nitrox diving which allows longer dives.
Ok, so I am a very technical person and work with computer servers, network devices and anything that has to do with computers on a daily basis; I'm not saying Mon-Fri from 9 to 5, but rather as much time as I'm consciously awake during the day, every day. Although I'm highly connected and supportive of technology services, I am still fascinated by the many initiatives being done to build sensors, micro chips, micro-electromechanical systems, wearable devices, and much more. Not only this, but the explosion of cloud based systems and computational capacity to do almost anything is truly impressive. Sometimes I'm not sure if I'm worried about the overwhelming amount of new information and services, or whether I'm actually happy to be living in this day and age ... I have to be honest that i get mixed feelings in this regard. However, my point is that I do enjoy the Internet of Things, new approaches for inter-connectivity and inter-operability as well as the many Cloud services, providers, Infrastructure as a Server and more ....
Sandwiches used to be my only specialty, but after my kids were born, I became a true fan of the kitchen. I love to experiment new Latin American dishes, and fusion plates that incorporate flavors from various countries. My favorite foods are Italian, Peruvian and Venezuelan, and I keep a good repertoire of recipes that I"m constantly changing and improving. Check the blog area for some of my bullet-proof recipes / videos.
